CVOEO addresses works with people to achieve economic independence. CVOEO provides individuals and families with the basic needs of food, fuel and housing support in times of crisis, and helps them acquire the necessary education, financial skills and assets to build stable futures.
The Crisis Fuel Program helps with purchasing primary heat sources (oil, natural or propane gas, wood, electric), repairing or replacing furnaces, negotiating payment plans, and working with electric or natural gas companies to prevent disconnection.
CVOEO provides information and referrals to help secure affordable housing in the community. If eligible, CVOEO may provide financial assistance to help with security deposits or overdue rent.
COTS Housing Resource Center helps people seeking affordable housing and rental assistance. Staff identify link families and individuals with resources and support before they are evicted or face foreclosure.
JUMP offers vouchers that can be used at local businesses for food, gasoline, laundromat use, identification, utility payments and medication.
Joseph’s House offers support and compassion through financial assistance and educational and enrichment classes.
