CVOEO addresses works with people to achieve economic independence.   CVOEO provides individuals and families with the basic needs of food, fuel and housing support in times of crisis, and helps them acquire the necessary education, financial skills and assets to build stable futures.

Crisis Fuel Assistance

The Crisis Fuel Program helps with purchasing primary heat sources (oil, natural or propane gas, wood, electric), repairing or replacing furnaces, negotiating payment plans, and working with electric or natural gas companies to prevent disconnection.
**Applications must be submitted in person at a local Community Action AgencyPlease call the agency first to find out which documents and information are needed to apply.**

Housing Assistance (CVOEO)

CVOEO provides information and referrals to help secure affordable housing in the community. If eligible, CVOEO may provide financial assistance to help with security deposits or overdue rent.

Housing Resource Center (COTS)

COTS Housing Resource Center helps people seeking affordable housing and rental assistance. Staff identify link families and individuals with resources and support before they are evicted or face foreclosure.
